Question
I have been taking the pill for 5 months now. I have the 28 pill pack and have been taking the inactive pills for 3 days now. ( I ran out of active white pills on saturday) I just purchased my new pack and wanted to start it tomorrow instead of waiting until sunday. Would I still be protected if I started a new pack tomorrow instead of waiting until sunday?

Answer
Bridgette,

I'm sorry but I just got your question so you probably went ahead and started your pills by now. I would have said that it would probably be ok but why would you want to do that. Just curious?
I really don't recommend birth control pills or any kind of hormonal birth control methods.

I feel that the risks and side effects are not healthy for a woman's body. Also, there is really no 100% safe birth control method so it's always a risk to get pregnant.
