Birth Control/Depo Shot

Question
I am unsure if you can answer this type of question...I have been looking all over the internet for an answer and cannot seem to find one. This is my last hope!

I got my first Depo Shot early this morning, for the last 3 hours my legs and ankles seem to be swelling/feeling like they did when I was pregnant.

I know there is a chance of clotting (as with most BC), but is this a normal side effect or should I be concerned? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

Answer
Hi Lindsey,

I am so sorry but I just got your question tonight. I hope that you received medical help because that could have been serious. I odn't recommend the depo shot or any kind of hormonal birth control methods. Please email me at CHERYL51@aol.com so I can find out if you are ok.
Hope to hear from you soon. Put ALLEXPERTS in the subject line of your email.
