Question
So this is my second month on birth control.   When I went to get the birth control I did not have the same doctor I normally had, and he was not that good.   At the time I did not think of this question, but now I am freaking out!   So if I am on non-perscerption allergy medication for seasonal allergies (I use allegra) will it affect my birth control (alesse)?

Answer
Jaylyne,

I have heard reports that some medications do affect birth control. However, you would have to check with your doctor. Can you get in touch with your regular doctor-like maybe calling?

I really don't recommend birth control pills or any kind of hormonal birth control methods. I don't like the fact of putting hormones in our bodies. Have you ever thought about this or researched it? Well, anyway, if you have any further questions or just want to talk or update me, please email me at CHERYL51@aol.com

Hope to hear from you soon.
