Question
i missed my pill for 3 days & took the 4th day late.
i've been taking it for about 4-5 months, but these pills that i missed were on the first week of the pack. which they say is the most important.

i had sex a couple days before missing the first pill, is it possible that i could get pregnant during those days? although it wasn't during my ovulation times.

if you seen this question from me before, my bad. i just had to clear some things up for someone that wasn't sure.

please no stupid answers, i'd really appreciate some good input.
i also talked to my doctor & he said i don't need to go in, so i don't know what to do now?

Answer
When a woman misses pills, pregnancy is possible.  Normally, ovulation doesn't occur while taking the pill, but missing pills gives your body a chance to ovulate.  Since you had sex 2 days before missing the pills, pregnancy isn't likely, since it usually takes a little time for ovulation to occur, but it's still possible.  Sperm can live for more than 2 days sometimes.  Since you're probably not pregnant, I would keep on taking the pill in the usual manner, realizing that you're not protected until you've been taking the pill daily for at least 7 days.  In case your period doesn't come when expected, then I'd do a pregnancy test.  The alternative would be to stop the pill, wait 2 weeks, do a pregnancy test, and then restart a new pack as long as the pregnancy test is negative.
