Question
I've had my IUD (Myrena) for 4 1/2 years and recently had it removed. My husband and I are trying to have a baby. Before myrena my period was 28days between each cycle and all throughout myrena my period continued to be 28 day cycle. For the past 3 months my period fall between 38-42 day cycles. How to I know when I will be producing my egg.Is there a chance that I may no longer be fertile???

Answer
Hi Marsha,

I haven't researched this very much but there is a thing called Natural Family Planning and it's supposed to help you with figuring out your cycle. http://www.ccli.org
I think there is a lady on allexperts.com that helps women with questions along these lines. I think she is listed under Natural Family Planning. Her name is Brigid.

Also, I just heard of a new product but you would have to check it out.  http://www.ecobabe.co.za

Let me know what you find out. You can email me at CHERYL51@aol.com
Good luck. I hope you get your heart's desire of a child.
