Birth Control/Birth control pills

I usually take my birth control pill at 6-8 but last night i came home at midnight and took it right away.
Can i get pregnant? Is the pill still effective?

Alisa, There should not be much problem from taking your birth control pill just a few hours late. However, I really don't recommend hormonal birth control. Do you have any side effects from this? How is your health? Please write back at
Also, you can get pregnant even taking the birth control period correctly and regularly. There is no birth control method that is 100% safe in preventing pregnancy.
