Question
So i just started taking birth control pills. I was wondering if i get my period while still on the red active pills(as in i still have a few to go), should i skip to the white placebo pills? or continue with the red?

Answer
Getting your period while still on the active pills is called breakthrough bleeding.  It's fairly common the first month or two when starting the pill.  It usually takes care of itself in time.  Keep taking the pills as directed.  If you stop, you lose protections.

As long as you just have a few active pills to go, I would keep taking them.  That way you maintain protection.  Once you start the new pack, your bleeding should stop.
