Question
I am a 122 lb 5'3" 20 yr old female who has been on the deli shot for 4 years now.
I have no periods whatsoever and have morning sickness ocassionaly.
These symptoms are no issue to me.
I do want to switch to nexplanon and was wondering if my symptoms would remain the same or if I run the chance of having irregular bleeding or heavy long lasting periods; (I heard that its common).

Answer
Irregular bleeding is common with nexplanon, but since you have no bleeding with the shot, there is a pretty good chance you would have little or no bleeding with nexplanon, as long as you go right from the shot to the nexplanon.
Heavy periods are unusual with nexplanon.
