Question
Okay. Last month I started taking Loestrin 24. I didn't miss no days until the last week when my period was suppose to come. I missed only 1 day but took it right away. I went to get the PLAN B just incase to be safe. the following week i started spotting but it only last for 2 days & it didn't look normal. I had sex while i was spotting & went again to get the PLAN B but took it within 4 days after it happened. now I'm in my new cycle on the pill (my 2nd week) but i don't see no normal period coming. Should i be worried about getting pregnant?

Answer
Hi Cindy,
I'm not a medical professional but have had much research in this area. First of all, I do recommend you ask your doctor about this. When you take the pill, there is always a chance of pregnancy. Even when you take exactly correctly, still a slight chance and if not taken right, more percentage of a chance of pregnancy. The only 100% way of preventing pregnancy is abstinence. I don't recommend the birth control pill or Plan B because of risks to your health. I only recommend Natural family planning or condoms (not very effective) Please email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com and I can send you more info. It would take too much space on this post. Your cycle sounds abnormal and the PLAN B probably additionally made a change in your natural cycle because of the hormones. If you want to get a free pregnancy test, please go to http://www.optionline.org and find a center in your area.
Please email me back.
Thanks.
