Question
I've just started Ortho Tri-cyclen Low. And I've now been on my period for 7 days. I'm usually only on my period for 3 to 4 days. I quit taking the birth control because I don't feel myself but I cant get off my period. I quit taking my pills 4 days ago. Please help me. My doctor is on vacation.

Answer
Hi Candace,
Thanks for your question. I was just going to say that I'm not a medical doctor and check with yours. But I see he/she is on vacation. I'm glad you quit taking the birth control but I don't know what to recommend about your period. You should stop soon. The birth control pill has lots of side effects and I'm afraid that this is one of those. Do you have anyone else to consult? Please email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com and tell me what happens.
