Birth Control/Depo provera

Question
I was on the "shot" for about a year. Three years ago, I still haven't gotten my periods back. Planned Parenthood tested my thyroid and prolactin they were normal. Do you think I'm infertile?

Answer
Do you have any bleeding at all ever? You need to check your basal body temperature and mucus which will tell you if there if your body is trying to  cycle. An endocrinologist would also probably check other hormones called follicle stimulating and leutenizing hormone.

Infertile is the inability to become pregnant. Have you ever been pregnant before the shot?
