Birth Control/Discharge since starting on the pill

Question
I have been on and off the pill for several years. Over these years I have always had a problem with discharge sort of on and off. Recently I went off the pill for roughly 5 months and have now gone back on it - since I have recommenced I have been getting a fair amount of discharge and a bad smell. Is there something I can do about this? I assume it is as a result of being on the pill again? I have also got strange feelings (slightly numb and a little bit puffy) at the entrance of my vaginal area which I did not notice before. Any advice will help, thank you.

Answer
Hi Rebecca,
Your situation concerns me and I recommend that you consult with your personal physician. I'm not a medical doctor but I know that there are many side effects and risks to the pill.
Is there a reason you went off and then back on? Do you need some advice on another kind of method? Let me know at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com
Hope this helps in some way and I would like to know what the doctor says.
