Question
In October 2005 I got the copper IUD inserted. On May 31st 2006 I got it removed. On May 24th 2006 was the first day of my last period, and as of July first I have not recieved my period yet. Do you think this is normal that I am late being that when I had the IUD I got my period every month?

Answer
Don't know the answer to this question.  It could be coincidence or it could be a condition.  Perhaps the copper did something to your body and now that the copper is gone, your body needs time to adjust.  If you've taken a pregnancy test and it's negative then you just have to wait and see what is going to happen.

Your period is a natural normal function of your body. Protect your fertility. Birth control pills are bad medicine for something that is delicate and easily destroyed. Now is a good time to quit using the pill.
