Question
I had the IUD inserted about 3 weeks ago, I asked almost everything I needed to know except I forgot to ask if we can still use a tampon since I have the IUD. Will it mess anything up?

Answer
Hello.. I haven't heard back from you and it's been a while since I emailed you back. Please let me know what happened.
Thanks.

Hi Melissa.
I read an article that said you shouldn't use a tampon for 7 days after insertion. Also, it says that you should get a check up about a month to 6 weeks after insertion. Did your doctor tell you that? I'm not a medical professional so just wanted to let you know that. I don't recommend the IUD because of risks and side effects. I only recommend tampons, abstinence and Natural family Planning. If you want to talk more, just email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com
Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
