Birth Control/Late Birth Control Early Cramps?

Question
I've been meaning to refil my birth control for a little over two weeks. Keep getting side tracked with work and college no time to stop by the pharmacy and pick it up. In the mean time I'm having unprotected sex and of course he does his business inside me. My question is even without the birth control I shouldnt be starting my period for about 3 more weeks. Why am I cramping horribly now and feeling like I have no energy?

Answer
Pregnancy is possible even when taking the pill according to directions. You are not taking the pill at all. If you miss your next period by a week, take a home pregnancy test exactly according to directions. Your symptoms could also be due to anxiety about everything you related in your message. Take some time for yourself. This busy schedule of work, college, boyfriend is wearing you down.
