Question Hi! I'm using micronor for abt 11 days ago and I'm supposed to have my period on the 19 every mth, however it still not here yet, i do check with my family doc and she says that it's common for period to be delayed and i also check my urine test and it's negative. Can i be sure that my period will delayed and for how long is it ? Thanks.
Answer Hello Aida,
Thanks for your question. I'm not a medical professional but hope that I can help in some way. Yes, I would agree with your physician that your period could be delayed. Let me know if it has come yet. I can't tell you how long it will be delayed or if you are pregnant. Here are some SIDE EFFECTS of Micronor: This medication may cause weight gain, depression, fatigue, acne, oily scalp, hair loss, decrease in breast size and may increase susceptibility to yeast infections. If these effects persist or become intolerable, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop any of the following effects while taking this medication: dizziness or fainting, sudden severe headache, changes in vision, numbness or tingling in the arms or legs, swelling of the hands or feet, chest pain, shortness of breath, pain in the lower legs with swelling/warmth or redness, symptoms of jaundice (dark urine, clay-colored stools, yellowing of the eyes or skin), changes in vaginal bleeding (e.g., spotting, breakthrough, prolonged, or lack of bleeding). If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
