Birth Control - Missed Pill

Expert: Ramona Quilter - 8/11/2006

Question
I totally goofed up!  I missed my pill for 3 days in a row and later realized that was when I usually ovulate.  We had sex every night.  I am due for my period in two days and was wondering what the chance was of me being pregnant.  I didn't do anything different once I figured out I had missed.  Just went back to taking a pill every night like normal.  Thanks for the help!

Answer
You don't ovulate on the pill if you take it the way it's prescribed.  When you don't (like missing three days) then you could ovulate, so you could get pregnant.  If you don't get your period in two days, you might want to get a pregnancy test and see if you are pregnant.  It would be possible.
