Question
Heres my story. My girlfriend got off her period and on the same day, we had sex. Surprisingly, the condom broke. This day was May 27. Then the next day, she took plan B. On June 3, she gets a spotting or a light bleeding. I was pretty scared but i heard that was normal. It is July 10, and i am so scared out of my mind. All i have to know, is my girlfriend pregnant? Since she had a light bleeding, does that mean she's not pregnant. Can somone please help me or give me some information. Thank you for your time.

Answer
I'm afraid you will have to go get a pregnancy test to know if she's pregnant.  The day off her period is a perfect day to get pregnant, especially if the condom breaks, which they often do.  Contraceptive failure is a primary cause of pregnancy and abortion, which is why it is recommended that only married couples who are in a position to take care of children engage in sexual activity.

Your period is a natural normal function of your body. Protect your fertility. Birth control pills are bad medicine for something that is delicate and easily destroyed. Now is a good time to quit using the pill.
