I have been on birth control for about 8 months now in the last month for sure i haven't missed any pills my last day taking the pill was on Thursday October 26 2006 and i had unprotected sex the next day on Friday. Today is the 29 and i still haven't gotten my period. Because i haven't been taking the pills for the 7 day break am i more likely to get pregnant because i am ovulating? Or am i protected for the 7 day break. am i not getting my period because i am paranoid, when will i no when i am pregnant for sure or not?

Thanks for your question. Anytime you have unprotected sex or even protected sex, there is a risk of pregnancy. The only 100% method is abstinence. I also recommend Natural Family planning but that also has some risk of pregnancy. I'm not sure what to say about the 7 day break.
