Birth Control/Pills!

Question
Hi,
I have been taking ortho-cyclin birth control pills for about 6 months, but 6 months before that I took ortho tri- cyclin birth control pills, cause I switched. Well, my question is, is that, I use to take my pills 8:00 am every morning. Well, I got tired of waking up and I dedcided to just take them whenever everyday. Well, this was like a month and a half ago and lets say I let it slip and I would only take like 2 or 3 pills a week or none for a week or week and a half instead of one pill daily, I know I shouldn't of done that and it would probably mess me up, well......Now within a week and a half I have had 3 dizzy spells that would last like a minute or 2. One was that i was standing, then the other one I was laying down on my bed watching tv and it just happend and the last one, standing up again. I was just curious is the pills could be what is doing it? I mean when I was on and off of the pills, it made me bleed for awhile. I kinda figured it was cause of not being on them right.....but I don't have any health insurance and I just wanna see if maybe it could be the pills and if so, see how it goes while on the pills, I have been taking them every day for 3 weeks so far. If possibilty are the pills, how long till effect for dizzinies to go away.

sorry for the long message. Thanks for having time and reading it. Will be greatly appreciated to hear from you.

Answer
Hi Mary,
First of all, I want you to know that I'm not a medical doctor. Please find a physician to check this out. I'm concerned about you having these dizzy spells and you need to find out what is causing this condition. I don't know if it is the pills or some other problem that you are having. The bleeding could have been a side effect of the pill. I would like to know if you have any other further questions-just email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com
Also if you would like any information about how the pill works or the risks and side effects, contact me.
