When is the best time to get pregnant before or after your period!!!

Answer
Ovulation is the best time to get pregnant.  Ovulation occurs between your periods, about 14 days after one starts and about 14 days before the next one starts.  However, the egg released at ovulation only lives about a day but the sperm can live up to a week inside a woman's body.  Therefore, it is possible to get pregnant from shortly after your period ends (days 6-10) as well as the days around ovulation (days 11-18) because of the variation.  NFP allows you to recognize when ovulation is about to occur so that you know when you get pregnant right away.
