Question
Hello. I had a Paraguard IUD put in on may 16 2006. After having it put in my periods stayed the same length of bleeding for two weeks before i had the iud put in i would have 3 weeks inbetween bleeding and after i had had only 2 weeks between the bleeding. the past two months are the exception i have had three weeks inbetween and bleeding for only one week. i have had a set of twins and a single and and feeling symtoms like when i was pregnant with them (nausea, presure, and lately a feeling of movement/pressing) i had done a home pregnancy test and it showed negative. I am not sure if this is something i should be concerned about or need to go to the doctor about. thank you for your time.

Answer
It's always good to call your healthcare provider when you have symptoms that concern you. When doing a home pregnancy test make sure that the test has not expired and do the test exactly as directed. Your doctor will probably ask you about your symptoms and then do another test.
