Birth Control - Stopping Birth Conrol Pills

Question
What are the possible side effects I might see after I stop taking birth control pills?

Answer
Hi Jessica,

You may not have any symptoms, and everything will go on just fine. However, some women may notice breast tenderness, naseousness, cramping and headaches. That will only last a little while, and is just from your body adjusting to the hormone change.

Now, the most irritating, and common complaint was irregular periods. It may be late, early, heay or light, or you may miss a few of them. Thats is also normal, as your body is readjusting and taking back over from the hormones that were in the pill, so it is to be expcted. But not all women will have any or all of these side effects, so keep that in mind.

Thanks,

Drea Jean
