Question
I recently switched my birthcontrol pills to a lower hormone pill (cesia).  Since I have switched I have had an upset stomach. This week it has been really bad, i've had diarrhea and i've been nausea.  Could this be a side effect from switching the pills?

Answer
Hi Molly,

If you can rule out that you may have eaten something that made you sick, or that it may be a virus, then it is likley caused by the pill switching. If this continues next month, you may need to switch brands again.

Good Luck and Thanks,
