Birth Control/Taking too many birth Control pills

Question
Instead of starting my pack on a Sunday like i normally do i started on a Thursday, so I took too pills everyday to catch up. I then forget to take it for almost a week. So again I took to pills everyday for about a week to catch up to the last week of pills. I have four left and forget to take one yesterday and today So i threw them out. Is this bad? what can happen, and what should I do

Hi Britt,
Thanks for your question. I'm not a doctor so please check with your physician or whoever prescribed the pills to you.
This sounds like a big mess and it's not healthy to be taking the pills incorrectly and too many pills at one time. You will not be covered by birth control right now so if you are sexually active and aren't using birth control, you could get pregnant. You can even get pregnant using the pill because this method is not 100% safe. I don't recommend any method using hormones. Please email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com and we can talk more.
