Question
I try to take my pill around 10:00 am, but sometimes with my job I cant take it right away. I usually never go later then 30-45 mins past 10:00.  Am I still protected?  A friend of mine has been on the pill for over a year and told me that if you forget to take it you have a couple hours to take it and not worry. True?

Hi Kelsey,

Your friend is absoloutley right. You can miss it up to 12 hours, and it won't change it's effectivness. Try not to wait THAT long, but even if you do, your still safe.
