Birth Control/What birth control would be best?

Question
I am twenty-four years old and I have epileptic seizures and migraines. I have just had my second daughter in march and with my health issues do not want to get pregnant again. My gynecologist put me on the nuvaring after my daughter was born but when I went for the check-up told me that my seizure medicines can make the birth control un-effective. I have had an IUD and had to have it removed plus the doctors say I am to young and will not agree to tie my tubes. Are there any birth contols that do not effect seizure medicines?

Answer
The only thing I know of that would be best for you in your state of health is Natural Family Planning.  it doesn't cost anything, has no risk and doesn't conflict with any other medicines you may need to take for your seizure disorder.  Write back if you are interested in more information or get some information from a good bookstore.  The website that I use for information is ccli.org  You can call them for assistance.

Natural Family Planning issues related to fertility and health

Your period is a natural normal function of your body. Protect your fertility. Birth control pills are bad medicine for something that is delicate and easily destroyed. Now is a good time to quit using the pill.
