Natural Family Planning issues related to fertility and health

Experience
Your period is a natural normal function of your body. Protect your fertility. Birth control pills are bad medicine for something that is delicate and easily destroyed. Now is a good time to quit using the pill.

Birth Control - Going off birth control pill

Expert: Brigid Kowalczyk - 1/6/2005

Question
Good afternoon
I started taking the birth control pill 6 days ago and it made me
feel irritable and depressed by the 4th day so I stopped taking it
yesterday. Now I feel better mentally but I am exhausted and
feel nauseous, plus my stomach and breasts hurt a little bit. I
also have a little bleeding since yesterday.  The last time I took
the pill was 5 years ago and had to go off it after two weeks
because it made me depressed.  My question is this: Is it natural
to feel exhausted and nauseous after only taking it for 6 days
then stopping?

Thank you in advance for your reply

Kylie

Answer
Nothing about the pill is "natural" but the side effects you experienced are your body's way of telling you this is really bad stuff.  Some women are more sensitive to the chemical steroids than others.  Don't take it again.  Hopefully, your body will return to normal soon.
