Question
I have been on Birth control for 3 years. I just had my period on Nov. 6th(evening) and ended November 11th(evening. Its now November 23rd and I just started at about 6 this evening. After my last period I did not continue to take my new cycle of birth control, because I no longer want to take it. Is this normal for me to have 2 periods now within a week apart. Also will I start my next period Dec.23rd or DEC. 6th?

Thanks for your question. I'm not a medical doctor so I suggest you contact your personal physician. This sounds very abnormal to me and I think you should have a checkup. But also, it's a possibility that going off the pill has changed your cycle somewhat. The hormones that are in the pill could have caused this because of you stopping the pill. I'm glad that you have decided to go off the pill. What caused you to decide that? Are you thinking about any other method? | Comment | Thank you very much for your suggestion. I will contact them as soon as I can. I was just hoping you could tell me, since I don't like dealing with the local Health Department here. I don't plan on changeing methods, I'm just sick of being on the pill and having to remember to take it everyday at the same time, because half the time I'm busy. Thanks again. | ||
