Birth Control/What are the chances I'm pregnant?

Question
My bf and I use withdrawal but we had sex at 2:30 am the day after I was supposed to be ovulating. It was my first period since going off of Depo-Provera in July. Do you think there is a big chance we are pregnant?

Answer
Hello Jessamine,
I'm not a medical doctor so I suggest that you check with your own personal physician. I don't know if the depo would cover you since you went off in July. I wonder why you didn't have a period all that time but it could be a side effect. There is a chance you could be pregnant. You could take a pregnancy test if you like. Here is a website to go to find a free pregnancy testing facility. They could also advise you how soon to get the test. http://www.optionline.org
I would love for you to email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com and tell me what happens. Do you want to talk more about other methods of birth control or do you want to get pregnant? Let me know.
