Question
My daughter who is a young teen started taking the pill. She was only on it for about 2 weeks than stopped. She than bleed for 2weeks, since then she has had sex. When she was due for her period she only spotted brown for 3 days ,this was 3 weeks ago ept test came out neg. Could she still be pregnant or is this normal?   thank you

Answer
A young woman is just starting to cycle. Her body may respond to the pill differently because of that. If the test came out negative three weeks after sex she probably is not pregnant, if you and she did the test correctly. I think a lot of people get old tests and may not do them correctly. If you are worried, get her to a provider and discuss this with them.
