Question
Hey,
I've been on Aleese for about 6months now and i think i might have taken my pill late one day(by only a couple of hours though) and after that ive been spotting all week, is this normal? and now i should be getting my period so thats like me having to have my period for 2 weeks, none of this seems right. Also, my hormones feel messed up too, ive been seriously moody and breaking out over my skin like no tomorrow.. have any idea whats going on?i would really appreciate any feedback.
  Thanx so much

Answer
Hi Mari,

Thanks for your question. I'm not a medical professional so please check with your doctor. I'm not sure if just one pill a little late could cause this but it could be a possibility. There are many side effects and risks from birth control pills and break through bleeding is one possible problem. Also, hormones can cause emotional ups and downs and also could be causing the skin break out. I don't recommend birth control pills because I don't believe the hormones are healthy for our bodies.
