know  i know this might be a little crazy but your doctor might not be giving you a birth control pill.  he might be giving you some other stuff.  i think you should check it out with another doc jest in case.hay you  never know there are crazy people out there. i mean come on the Internet has every thing you would have found SOME THING on it!
