I am on the shot right now and have been for 2 years since 6 weeks after i had my son. I love it. I had a slight discharge, very light, for the first 6 months then nothing. The only thing to look at is to research the after effects of stopping the shot. I have been reading up on it because I would like another child, and I've seen some scary stories, and some good ones. Just about the lenght of time it takes to get back normal, some women seem to have a very hard time getting pregnant afterwars. I'm not an expert, it's just what i've found researching so far. So I just wanted to mention to really look into the shot .. it's great while you are on it though - I have to admit that. A shot every 3 months and no period. It's a dream :)
