I may not be an expert but i have been on the pill for 6 years and i can tell you from experience that what you are telling these women is nothing but a scare tactic. Many studies have been done and while BCP is not for everyone it can help others. Studies show that it can reduce your chances of getting certain cancers, regulate an irregular period, and give women the piece of mind that they are protected against an unwanted pregnancy. While true the BCP is changing how your body works naturally no study has ever found that BCP will make you infertile. In fact some women conceive in weeks after going off BCP's.

Your comment of "i cannot think of one clinical indication for BCP and that no should use them" should tell people right where you stand on the subject. You are tying to scare women into thinking BCP will alter you permanently. It does not. There is a reason of why you must take the pill everyday because the effects of it don't last. There for over time the effects of the pill will fade away. One other thing an irregular period is not a disease its just that the cycle is a little off for whatever reason that is not her fault. And for someone who dislikes BCP you are pushing for women to control female hormones...wait isn't that what BCP do???

Being on the pill and seeing my doc i can say there is NOTHING unhealthy about me. So please next time you want to answer a question have your facts right because it makes you sound like a drug company.

Your period is a natural normal function of your body. Protect your fertility. Birth control pills are bad medicine for something that is delicate and easily destroyed. Now is a good time to quit using the pill.
