Whoever answered your question needs to read it first. Ive been told by the pharmicist that it takes about one month to start working effectively.

Birth control takes 6 months to become effective. Make sure to take 3 pills a day, and look out for uterus shedding. Because you are in high school, your chances of becoming pregnant are 91.46% when you graduate that will plummet to a mere 15% depending on the day of the week that you brush your teeth and the humidity level or precipitation chart. So make sure to use a condom every time or else you will get pregnant and die!

Your period is a natural normal function of your body. Protect your fertility. Birth control pills are bad medicine for something that is delicate and easily destroyed. Now is a good time to quit using the pill.
