Birth Control/false positive result on pregnancy test

Question
I took the Plan B pill after having unprotected sex about 2 weeks ago. Yesterday I took a pregnancy test and it came out positive. Could the Plan B pill be the reason for the positive result due to the hormones?

Answer
Did you take the test exactly according to the instructions? Have you ever been pregnant? Do you know how it feels to be pregnant? Do you feel pregnant? Depending on how you answer these questions you may want to make an appointment with your provider and discuss this with them.
