Birth Control/I am feeling sick

Question
I have been taking birth control for about 3 years now. I am 21 years old and just this past July 2006. I have been feeling nausea everyday and now I am also getting headaches and dizziness. At first, I thought I could be pregnant and took a test at one of the clinics and that came out negative. I also went to a neurologist and took an MRI to check for MS and Tumors. they thought i had this thing call benign positional vertigo, but i tested negative for that and also the symptoms dont last 3 months. So i am stuck at a dead end wondering what it can be that is causing my nausea. I have nausea more than anything, I have had my period the past three mo. and i am not gaining any weight so far, but then agian, you dont gain weight till 4-5 mo. I was just wondering, It could just be the birthcontrol? but i didnt have any side effects before, why after 3 yrs would i feel this way. Maybe you might have an idea if there is good reason to believe it is birth control or maybe something else?

Answer
Hello Lora,
I'm sorry you are not feeling well. Feeling healthy and good is so important. Is there any way that you could go off the birth control for a few months just to see what happens. I believe the pill and other methods using hormones are dangerous to a woman's health. However, I am not a medical doctor and that is my personaly opinion. Nausea is a sign of pregnancy but it could also be a symptom of something else.
Do you need to be on birth control at this time? Well, let me know what you think by emailing me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com
I hope you find out what it is and please update me soon.

p.s. check out this website and maybe find a local center and ask them what they think or when you could get a free test
