Question
hello ive been taking tri-spintec for about 3 weeks now (first time) havent missed a dose and been taking it everyday at the same time and i was wondering how long until it becomes effective? Also i should be due on my period next week. . me and my boyfriend had recently had unprotected sex but didnt ejaculate in me but somtimes theres pre-cum. Can i become pregnet?

Answer
Male discharge prior to ejaculation may contain sperm. The probability of pregnancy is small but real. Generally one should use a back up method of contraception for the first seven days after starting the contraceptive pill. This depends on the pill type. Check with your doctor.
