Question
My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex this afternoon and then
after going to eat, I got home and realized I had forgotten to
take my pill for the day. It's been about 9 hours now since the
time I would have taken it. I'm good about taking the pill and
hardly ever forget, but I just started again as my period ended
two days ago. What should I do?
Hi Dana.
Don't worry, your fine. Take the pill you missed, and take the next pill as scheduled. Even if you miss a pill by 24 hours, as long as you make it up, you don't need a back up method. So, in your case, everythings fine, and there is no need to worry.
