Birth Control/natural relief for menstrual cramps
Expert: Brigid Kowalczyk - 7/6/2006
QuestionHi, we have conflicting views on some things, but definitely agree about the pill. Everyone acts like it's no big deal and that the side effects hardly ever occur, but my husband and I have concerns about it so I don't want to go on it. I was hoping that perhaps you had some advice about natural relief for menstrual cramps. I get HORRIBLE ones every single month--bad enough to keep me home from work. Obviously, one of the methods known to help relieve these is going on the pill, but I want something that won't give me a heart attack or blood clot. I have already done things like paying attention to my caffeine intake, eating a more balanced diet with more fruits and veggies, and getting more exercise. Any ideas you have would be GREATLY appreciated.
Answer"Oona PMS 2 For Cramps" from Drugstore.com
I have it on good authority that this product works the best for bad cramps. It is made with Cramp Bard which is an herbal compound mixed with ginger. My friend says she's tried other brands but this one from Drugstore.com is the only one that works for her. I hope it works for you.
