Birth Control - ortho-tricyclen

Question
hi, i just had my 2nd baby a little over 3 months ago. i just finished my 2nd month on ortho-tricyclen.  last month i missed a few pills and got my period before i was done with hormone pills, this month i have not missed any and am now to the ones without the hormone, but have not yet gotten my period, i am having symptoms that could either mean a period or pregnancy.  i was on lo ovral before and always got my period the day i started the non hormone pills, so i'm just wondering when i should get my period or what you think.  thanks so much

Answer
Since you missed some pills earlier, your period may be off a little. Wait another three days and then take a pregnancy test. This is one that you will just have to wait out. If you have trouble remembering to tkae your pills, think about switching to another method. Maybe an IUD - I have one and love it.
