Birth Control/possible missed period

Question
I started a new pill last month Tri-Spintec and last month I started when I should have during the white pills.  I only spot for a couple of days which is normal for me.  However, I should have started a day or two ago.  Today is the last white pill.  I normally have started by now.  My question is if it is possible to be pregnant should I continue to take the pill tomorrow? I did notice that I have a little clear snotty discharge today also.  Could I be pregnant.  I am not very good about taking the pill everyday.  There have been times were I might of missed 4-5 and had to catch up.

Answer
You should take a pregnancy test before you start another pack of pills.  If you cannot be consistent with taking them the way they are prescribed you had better find a different method of birth control because you will find yourself pregnant, guaranteed.  Catching up after missing 4-5 of them is a really good way to assure ineffective protection against pregnancy.  so, yes, the answer to your question is that you could be pregnant.

Your period is a natural normal function of your body. Protect your fertility. Birth control pills are bad medicine for something that is delicate and easily destroyed. Now is a good time to quit using the pill.
