Question
Hi, im taking desogen birth control, and getting my period everyother month usually. this month was the month i was supposed to get it, but not for another 2 weeks. Last night i realized that i missed taking a pill one of the days in the past week but i cant remember which one. So i took both of them last night and i woke up this morning and i was heavily on my period. what does this mean? should i continue to take my pills for the month? whats going to happen when i take the 'period' pills?

Please help
thank you

Answer
First, you really really should read the instructions that come with your pill. If this is really your period then you are at the beginning of a new cycle and should begin a new pill cycle. If you honestly think that this is your period, don't continue with your current pill cycle.
