Question My wife stopped taking birth control pills after 15 years a few months ago... Her moods are so bad, and she is so sensivite to me about the smallest thing I say to her.. Could her moods be from not having the pill in her system any longer...? She wasen't like this while she was on the pill. I been married for 9 months to her, but since in the past five months she hard to live with.... Please help me out.... Thank you
Answer The pill either stops her cycles or is an artificial cycle. Without the pill, her body is trying to return to normal. Women normally have mood swings through their cycles and your wife may be getting used to her body's cycles after 15 years. So the answer is yes, her moods could be due to getting off the pill and returning to her regular cycling.
But you should also think of other things which might be causing this. What kind of trouble has she been having at work, what about her family or your family?
Did you talk with her about this change in her? That may be the place to begin.
