Birth Control/stopping birth control pill

Question
Hello
I have been on birth control for two weeks now and I decided to stop because I was experiencing too many side effects. After stopping the pills I started to have bleeding that looks like a regular period. Is that normal

Answer
Yes, it would be pretty normal.  You'll have to wait a while for the normal pattern of your body to take over again.  Since it was only for two weeks, and you stopped in the middle of the package, your distrupted the imposed pattern from the artificial hormones.  But it should be OK again soon.

I do not answer questions about other forms of birth control.
