Question
what are the side effects of stopping the pill? i was on the pill for almost 4 years and i have been off the pill for about a month and a half. also, how long do the side effects last? i just want to know if what i am feeling  is normal.

Answer
Hi Laurie,
Thanks for your question. I wanted to let you know that I'm not a medical professional. But I have done research on the subject and I've heard that you can have the same side effects going off the pill as going on. I congratulate you on going off the pill. I don't recommend hormonal birth control methods--I don't think they are healthy and I prefer natural methods. Is there a reason you are going off?
Are you going to use any other method? I recommend Natural Family Planning, condoms and of course, abstinence. Let me know what happens. You can email me anytime at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com

Sincerely,
Diane Cheryl
