Question
I switched to a new birth control pill and now this month when i was suppose to start my period i did'nt. I am now 5 days late and i have taken 3 test and they are negative.  I have been pregnant before and i dont feel like i am, but i am not sure. I feel like i am going to start every day but i dont. Could this be from switching pills?

Answer
Hi Christine,
I'm not a medical doctor so I suggest that you check with your physician. I think there is a possibility that your situation could be affected by switching pills but I'm not sure how much of a chance that would be. Is there anything else that has changed in your lifestyle? I also would think you would have to wait for a time for a pregnancy test to show up. Perhaps you could check this website for a pregnancy center near you to get a free test. They could advise as to when. http://www.optionline.org
