Birth Control/withdrawl bleed on pill

Question
I have been on Loestrin for 6 months.  Originally I had lots of spotting and heavy withdrawal bleeds.  Recently this has been decreasing.  This month I seem to have had no withdrawal bleed at all.  I took a home pregnancy test and it was negative.  Should I be worried?

Answer
Hi Sarah,
I'm not a medical professional so please consult your physician. However, I did a little research on this and all the articles I am reading say it is low-dosage and used with women who are approaching menopause or are in menopause. How old are you and do you know why you have been prescribed this? If you have any other info to help me in advising you, please email me at DCHERYL51@yahoo.com
If you want to find a free pregnancy testing center in your area, go to http://www.optionline.org
I would be a little concerned but like I said, check with your doctor. Hope this helps.
