Birth Control/What should I do?

Question
Hello,
I was told I could take the pill for 2 'months' straight with out a problem (I'm taking Dianin 35 I think... if that makes a difference), anyways...I'm just starting the second pack (or 'month') and I realized that after this one I will get my period the same week I'm going on holidays. Can I take the pill for 3 'months' straight with out a problem? If not then could I just stop today and get my period then start back as normal or will that mess me up some how?  Thanks for your help.

Answer
The pill is like all other medicines and should be taken exactly according to directions to work as expected. I don't know why you are taking it for two months only and you should be able to take it for three months.  I do not suggest stopping and starting when ever you want to; that is not the way to take any kind of medicine.
